Ingredients

  • ¾ cup – Organic Tattva’s Rice
  • ½ cup – Organic Tattva’s Mixed Dal
  • 2 tbsp – Oil + ghee
  • ½ tsp – Organic Tattva’s Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 3 Green chilli chopped
  • 2 tbsp – Finely chopped coriander leaves finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp – Organic Tattva’s Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp – Organic Tattva’s Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp – Organic Tattva’s Coriander powder
  • Salt as per taste

Recipes

Heat oil & ghee in a pressure cooker, followed by adding jeera and let it splutter

Add onions and fry until translucent

Add tomatoes & green chillies and fry till the oil separates

Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt, and mix it well and fry till the raw smell leaves

Drain the soaked rice, dal & coriander leaves and stir fry for 2 mins till it gets completely coated with the masalas

Add 4-5 cups of water and cook upto 3-4 whistles of the pressure cooker

Once done, turn off the flame and wait for the pressure to come down on its own

Your delicious Mix Dal Khichdi is now ready to be served
